500 students take oath to eliminate child labourNEW DELHI: Around 500 students from Aditi Mahavidyala in Delhi university pledged for a child-labour-free Diwali celebration this year.Over 500 girls came together and pledged that they would never engage children as labour and fight against employing child labourers. As several cracker-producing factories use children as labour, the students pledged to celebrate Diwali with diyas.Speaking on the occasion, activist against child labour Kailash Satyarthi said, "There are six crore child labourers in our country working in extremely hazardous condition and the main cause of poverty is to employing child labourers."Information gathered from Internet from Click Here
