Delhi kids stuck in storm-hit USHT Correspondent , Hindustan TimesNew Delhi, November 02, 2012A hundred school children of Delhi visiting the US to attend a Nasa-organised science programme are stranded there because of the havoc caused by Hurricane Sandy in the east coast of the country. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration had organised the programme inOrlando, Florida. There are 33 students from Mount St Marys School, 16 from Bluebells International School, 21 from Ahlcon Public School and 30 from Ahlcon International School. There are also 10 students from Shimlas Auckland House School. We have been in touch with the teacher and the principal, and the children are safe. They were supposed to return to India on Thursday but are now trying to get tickets for November 3. The parents are slightly agitated but we are doing our best to reassure them, said a spokesperson of Mount St Marys School. Ahlcon International School principal Ashok Pandey said: Our students are in Washington, DC, but they will be coming back on November 5 ... The parents have been very cooperative. We are in constant touch with the accompanying teachers and the students.Information gathered from Internet from Click Here
