50.000 Gitas To Be Distributed To Delhi School ChildrenOn the occasion of Gita Jayanti, during the months of November and December 2012, ISKCON Youth Forum Delhi is organizing a 'Sanskriti Darshan' program ("a close experience of ancient Indian vedic culture") for Delhi school children.First, the children first three sections of Vedic Expo Museum. Then they are provided with prasadam (full meal), then each of them gets a Bhagavad-gita, which they study for about a month and will enter the Gita-contest in January.Last year, there were 20.000 students participated at the event and the Gita-contest.This year the organizers are expecting around 50,000 students from more than 200 reputed Delhi schools. Each 50.000 of them will be given a Bhagavad-gita. All these students would be eligible to participate in the spiritual Gita-contest, which would be conducted in the month of January, 2013.
